ETS Trip Planner - Help

Welcome to the ETS Trip Planner.

The ETS Trip Planner will calculate a customized transit trip plan using travel information you provide. The Trip Planner will find the best matches between your travel needs and current transit schedules.

To get a trip plan using this tool, you will need to provide

1. The date you need to travel;

2. The time you need to travel;

3. The bus stop number or landmark of your start location; and

4. The bus stop number or landmark of your destination location.

1. Choose Date of Travel

Enter year, month and date in the field provided

NOTE: Trip plans can only be calculated for the current service period. ETS has five service changes a year - in February, April, June, September and December. A minimum of two weeks advance service is available. If service is not available for the date you require, please check back closer to your travel.

2. Choose Time of Travel

Select whether you are entering the time at which you need to arrive or depart.

undefined

NOTE: ETS uses the 24-hour time clock. If you are not familiar with the 24-hour time convention, click here for a 24-hour clock conversion table .

OR

To convert time to the 24-hour format use the "Just Add Twelve" concept. For example, if it is 1 p.m. and you wanted to convert it to the 24-hour format, you would add 12 + 1 to get 13. You now have 13:00 hours. Likewise, if the time is 5 p.m., you add 5 + 12 to get 17. You now have 17:00 hours.

Trip Planning After Midnight
The ETS Trip Planner considers travel past midnight as service for the next calendar date. Please keep this in mind when entering your date of travel if you are travelling past midnight. Departure times for the bus or LRT leaving the stop after midnight will be noted with the next day's date in (month, day, year). e.g. 00:05 (December 14, 2004)
